Kupka's painting sold for 2.4 million dollars in New York

The Diagonal Planes I abstract painting by Frantisek Kupka, a Czech co-founder of the abstract art movement, was sold for 2.4 million dollars without surcharge in the Sotheby's auction house in New York within the auction of impressionist and classic modern art auction in early morning hours CET.
