Kubek: More than 13,000 health-care workers infected with Covid-19

More than 13,000 health-care workers are currently infected with Covid-19 in the Czech Republic, Czech Medical Chamber (CLK) President Milan Kubek told public broadcaster Czech Radio Radiozurnal on Monday. At present, 2,600 doctors, 6,000 nurses and 4,500 other health-care workers are infected. Their number has been rising fast in the past few days with some 1,000 health-care workers testing positive a day, Kubek said. In early October, almost 600 doctors, some 1,000 nurses and 900 other health-care staff were infected with coronavirus.
