June 30th, 2020
Krakow Airport, in southern Poland, has signed a declaration initiated by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), aimed at applying and promoting new safety rules to counteract the Covid-19 pandemic. The document, called "Aviation Industry Charter for Covid-19," has so far been adopted by 20 European airport operators and 18 airlines. The main purpose of the declaration is to apply and promote by air operators and airport managers new safety rules against the spread of coronavirus in order to facilitate the restoration of air travel within the European Union and other non-associated countries.
