Krajci: Average length of stay in hospital with COVID-19 11 days

The average length of stay in hospital of COVID-19 patients in Slovakia is 11 days, Health Minister Marek Krajci stated on Wednesday at a conference named Visionaries in the Health-care System 2020, adding that 12.5 percent of people who test positive for the disease end up in hospital. Meanwhile, the average length of stay in intensive care is 7 days and 6 days when it comes to patients who need lung ventilation.
