Kovacs: New EC proposal on migrants 'unacceptable'

The government rejects a new addition to the European Commission's migration strategy -- a "sustainable framework" which would mean organised migration to Europe and resettlements -- and also objects to an immigration policy that would lead to migrants gaining citizenship and the right to vote, Zoltan Kovacs, the state secretary for international communications and relations, said on Thursday.
