June 23rd, 2020
Slovakia should re-open its borders to people coming from third countries as of July 1 gradually, Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok (a Freedom and Solidarity/SaS nominee) stated on Tuesday at a briefing, stating the health of the Slovak public comes first. According to Korcok, EU prime ministers agreed in March that the EU will restrict the entry of third-country nationals into the Union. The agreement, however, is set to expire at the end of June.
