Korcok receives outgoing French Ambassador Leonzi

Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok on Monday received French Ambassador to Slovakia Christophe Leonzi to mark the conclusion of his mission in Slovakia, the ministry's communications department said. "France is a strategic partner with whom we have a very good relationship. Regular contacts not only at the top level but also at the level of regions, towns and villages contribute towards this," Korcok said. "We continue to implement the third Slovak-French Strategic Partnership Action Plan for 2018-2022." France is Slovakia's fourth largest trading partner, he said, adding that there was still room to strengthen trade cooperation further to include new areas, such as the transition to a green and digital economy.
