Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok called for restraint and appropriate measures when using force on his visit to Israel on Thursday, during which he met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Israeli counterpart Gabriel Ashkenazi, the foreign ministry's press department said. "I expressed Slovakia's support for Israel's right to self-defence and to guarantee the security of its citizens," Korcok said. "At the same time, I called for restraint and reasonable behaviour in the use of force with regard to the security of the civilian population. I explained what our citizens in Slovakia feel, in particular that human life has the same value everywhere in the world, regardless of whether it is in Israel or Palestine."
