Kollar visits Azerbaijan, holds talks on gas supplies

Parliamentary Chair Boris Kollar and other representatives of the Slovak parliament have paid an official visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Qafarova, Kollar's spokesperson Michaela Jurcova told TASR. The Slovak parliamentary delegation arrived in Azerbaijan on Friday evening. Kollar then held an informal meeting with Qafarova. "The main goal of my visit was to enhance the long-term good relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, especially by promoting Slovak economic interests," he said. The parliamentary delegation also attended Friday's League of Nations football match between Slovakia and Azerbaijan, after which Kollar congratulated the Slovak team on its win.
