Kollar meets Polish president, parliamentary chairs in Warsaw

Slovak Parliamentary Chair Boris Kollar on Wednesday met with Polish President Andrzej Duda, Polish Senate Marshal Tomasz Grodzki and Sejm Marshal Elzbieta Witek in Warsaw, with the chairs and the president discussing inter-parliamentary cooperation between Slovakia and Poland, the pandemic, the EU and protection of borders, Kollar's office told TASR. "As relations between our parliaments have long enjoyed dynamism and mutual goodwill, we want to develop and strengthen professional interactions at the level of selected parliamentary committees and groups of friendship," remarked Kollar, adding that this year's meeting between the Slovak and Polish parliamentary committees for economy and infrastructure in Zilina was proof of this.
