Kia Slovakia turns out 164,300 vehicles, over 230,000 engines in H1

Kia Slovakia's facility in Teplicka nad Vahom (Zilina region) produced 164,300 cars and over 230,000 engines in the first half of 2022, company spokesman Tomas Potocek told a news conference on Thursday, adding that the company plans to manufacture over 306,000 cars this year. According to Potocek, the Sportage and Ceed models produced in the first half of 2022 were mainly intended for customers from traditional export markets, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Poland and France.
