U.S. KC-135 Stratotanker lands for training in Czech Republic

A U.S. KC-135 Stratotanker of the Nebraska National Guard landed at Pardubice airport just before 16:00 within a training, Tomas Maruscak, from the General Staff press department, told journalists today. The aerial refueling aircraft and its crew will check how the airport is able to enable the landing of such a plane and its use for NATO operations there. Its departure is scheduled for Monday. Maruscak said the exercise was part of the measures to enhance the defence capability of NATO's eastern flank.
