Kazakhstan region gains importance for Hungary, says official

Kazakhstan and its region will gain importance in value for Hungary in the future, Mihaly Varga, state secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, said. The Hungarian delegation of government officials and businesspeople led by Prime Minister Viktor Orban arrived in the Kazakh capital on Thursday, as part of a two-day official visit. The gross domestic product (GDP) of this region has quadrupled over the past seven years, so the Hungarian government must map out economic opportunities here, Varga said.
