Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenicky (Smer-SD) admitted on Thursday that less money will collected from taxes and levies than previously, and the Government doesn't have at its disposal the kind of incomes that it had during the era of ex-finance minister Peter Kazimir. "There'll be definitely a drop. Unlike my predecessor, I don't have the comfort of [obtaining higher incomes than originally expected]," he said, noting that he became the minister when a deficit of 0.7 percent of GDP had already been signalled.
