Zdenek Kabatek will stay on as the director of the General Health Insurance Company (VZP), having been preferred to his rival, the VZP health care deputy director, David Smehlik, who was supported by Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis's ANO, the VZP board of directors decided on Monday. Kabatek will head the biggest Czech health insurance company, with 5.9 million clients and administering over 200 billion crowns a year, for another four years.
