Justice minister: Hungary chapter of EC rule of law report 'absurd, false'

Justice Minister Judit Varga has called the European Commission Rule of Law Report "absurd and false", adding that it "cannot serve as a basis for any further discussion on the rule of law in the European Union". In a Facebook post reacting to the rule of law report's chapter on Hungary released by the EC on Wednesday, Varga called the report's concept and methodology "flawed", its sources "unbalanced" and its content "unfounded".
