Justice Minister Gabor Gal announced on Wednesday that he will not feature on the Most-Hid party's slate in the general election due in four months. "There are many reasons, both political and non-political," he said after the regular cabinet session. Gal also commented on MP Peter Kresak's decision to leave the Most-Hid caucus. "I respect his decision. Although we didn't always agree, I consider him to be an expert who's been able to back up his opinions with arguments," said Gal. Most-Hid spokesperson Klara Magdeme told TASR later that Gal had notified party chairman Bela Bugar about his decision back in the summer.
