Hungary's Child Protection Act is under attack on a new front, Justice Minister Judit Varga said on Thursday. The United Nations Human Rights Council reviews the situation of human rights in every country every five years, Varga said in an English-language post on Facebook. "Now it was the turn of Hungary, among others. In this highly politicised process, each state can give recommendations to the country under examination," Varga said. "In addition to the many positive responses, Hungary has received several recommendations openly attacking the Child Protection Act adopted this summer," she said.
