Javelin missiles to boost Poland's military modernisation - US ambassador

US Ambassador to Poland Georgete Mosbacher described the US State Department's approval of the sale of Javelin missiles to Poland as a move that would contribute to the country's military modernisation. "Security is our shared priority, the cornerstone of the US-PL alliance," Mosbacher wrote on Twitter on Thursday. On Wednesday, the State Department accepted the potential sale to Poland of 79 launchers and 180 Javelin missiles. The total value of the deal could reach a maximum of USD 100 million.
