Interior Ministry begins inspection of Presidential Office files

The Czech Interior Ministry has started a ten-day inspection at the Presidential Office (KPR), examining its administration of documents and files, the Interior Ministry press department told journalists on Monday. In early February, the check by the Interior Ministry and National Security Institute (NBU) was recommended by the Chamber of Deputies security committee. In connection with the shredding of a secret report on the involvement of Russian secret services in the 2014 blasts in the ammunition depot in Vrbetice, south Moravia, the authorities will examine whether the KPR observed the rules for the protection of classified information, the committee said.
