Interior ministry launches campaign raising awareness of fraud against elderly

The interior ministry is launching a prevention campaign aimed at scams targeting the elderly, the ministry's press department told TASR on Friday. The campaign will take place in September and October and will consist of measures and activities that will educate the elderly about internet security and well-known running scams. In this vein, the ministry noted that it has set up 16 information offices that the elderly and their relatives can contact whenever they've been the victim of a crime or have a hunch they might become a victim of fraudulent practices.
