The Interior Ministry Inspectorate has pressed charges against former chief of the National Crime Agency (NAKA) Branislav Zurian, according to the daily Dennik N, which reported on a police raid on Zurian's house in Poprad (Presov region) on Friday, adding that Zurian is abroad at the moment. News portal Topky.sk on Wednesday reported that Zurian in February filed a criminal complaint against Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) former deputy chief Boris B. regarding false accusations and false testimony. The motion concerned Boris B.'s testimony that Zurian had leaked classified information. In his criminal complaint, Zurian claimed that then prime minister Igor Matovic was involved in Financial Administration Criminal Office (KUFS) ex-chief Ludovit M.'s move to SIS. Matovic, who currently serves as finance minister, recently denied pushing for Ludovit M. to be moved to SIS. "I have nothing to do with that," he said.
