Interior minister dismisses allegations in corruption case

June 21st, 2022

The leader of the Mayors and Independents (STAN), Interior Minister Vit Rakusan, dismissed the allegations that he had failed to intervene in the corruption scandal involving the Prague Public Transport Company (DPP), on Twitter on Tuesday. Rakusan said that since he had no proof, he was settling the affair politically, trying to weaken the position of former Prague deputy mayor and DPP supervisory board member Petr Hlubucek (STAN), one of the trio remanded in custody over their implication in the corruption case.
