Inflation in Slovakia at 3 pc in December - stats office

Year-on-year inflation in Slovakia amounted to 3 percent in December, with core inflation standing at 2.9 percent and net inflation at 2.2 percent, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Tuesday. In December 2019 month-on-month cumulative inflation was negatively influenced by core inflation by 0.14 percentage points, while regulated prices and indirect taxes had no effect on cumulative inflation. Food prices had no effect on core inflation, while net inflation had a negative impact of 0.14 percentage points on core inflation.
