In the latest edition of its World Economic Outlook report, the International Monetary Fund has raised its estimate of Poland's annual average consumer price index (CPI) to 3.5 percent for 2020 from the previously expected 1.9 percent. In December 2020, Poland's consumer prices are expected to be up by 3.5 percent from the same month of 2019, the IMF said. At the same time, the IMF upgraded Poland's GDP growth forecast for 2019 to 4.0 percent from 3.8 percent, and upheld its expectation of a 3.1 percent GDP growth in 2020.
