February 24th, 2021
The Slovak industry and its business partners are achieving continuous economic growth even despite the restrictive measures, as the demand for automobiles remains strong but risks are beginning to emerge on the supply side, according to the latest monitoring report by the Financial Policy Institute. Struggling in the red are mostly services, particularly tourism and recreational services. The unemployment rate is gradually rising, although the losses are less pronounced than they were during the first wave of the epidemic. The worsening labour market situation has not yet translated into a drop in prices.
