The process of shutting down Polish coal mines is inevitable and the Polish Mining Group (PGG) has prepared a plan to close down four unprofitable mines, Deputy PM and State Assets Minister Jacek Sasin told private radio RMF FM on Thursday. "I have always said that that shutting down mines is an inevitable process," Sasin said. "We have adopted this principle in the government that we make decisions based on dialogue with our social partners, therefore we've been in intensive dialogue with trade unions for more than a month, seeking solutions," the state assets minister said.
