Hungary to submit dissenting opinion on EC Farm to fork strategy

Hungary will submit a dissenting opinion on the European Commission's Farm to Fork Strategy for fair and sustainable food production if the Agriculture and Fisheries Council adopts it at a meeting on October 19-20, the Hungarian agriculture ministry said on Friday. The ministry said in a statement that while Hungary will back the approval, it will also add a dissenting opinion to say that the strategy disproportionately burdens member states.
