March 2nd, 2020

Hungarian authorities have so far tested 4,927 people for the new coronavirus at entry points into the country, 408 of which received preliminary medical checks. No one as yet tested positive, the operative board told MTI on Monday. The body coordinating response to the Covid-19 outbreak said that so far, 131 samples have been tested in laboratories, with all testing negative. Speaking at a press conference, Colonel Tibor Lakatos, the leader of the call centre for coronavirus queries, said the board will launch a website on Wednesday the latest, providing current information and advice on the outbreak.
