Hungary's government has sent 20 million forints (EUR 57,000) worth of swift aid to the Czech Republic's South Moravia region hit by a deadly tornado, the prime minister's office said on Friday. The aid is provided in partnership with the Hungarian Ecumenical Charity and contains humanitarian supplies and material to help rebuild an elderly care home and a church in the village of Hrusky, the office said in a statement. Meanwhile, the Hungarian Reformed Charity has dispatched a team of seven experts to help rescue operations, the charity said. The team is also taking humanitarian aid to the region, it said in a statement.
