Hungary ruling parties stay away from opposition-sponsored session

An extraordinary session initiated by the opposition to discuss the government's management of the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday lacked the necessary quorum as deputies of the ruling parties did not turn up. The proponent Democratic Coalition, Socialist Party, Jobbik, LMP, and Parbeszed had sought to discuss a resolution concerning "the chaos" around vaccination as well as immediate economic measures.
