Hungary power plant block output reduced after malfunction

The Paks nuclear power plant's number four block is operating at 50 percent capacity after a turbine was shut down on Monday as safety measures kicked in, operator MVM Paksi Atomeromu said. The malfunction has no effect on nuclear safety or the environment, the operator said, adding that experts are working to resolve the issue.
