Hungary justice minister attends EU General Affairs Council session

Effective cooperation in Europe requires continuous dialogue between member states, Justice Minister Judit Varga said after a session of the EU's General Affairs Council on Tuesday, and expressed Hungary's readiness to be a partner in such dialogues. The meeting touched upon the European Democracy Action Plan, Varga said on Facebook, but added that "contentious issues remain", such as ones around measures to promote democratic participation.
