Hungary govt to launch information campaign on child protection referendum

The government on Friday said it is launching an information campaign about the national referendum on the child protection law to be held simultaneously with the parliamentary election on April 3. "It is parents, and not activist groups, who have the exclusive right to give sex education to their children," the government said on its Facebook page. With its information campaign the government wants to ensure Hungarian people the opportunity to express their opinion on the matter," the government said.
