Hungary aims to boost its share of European Union Horizon funding for research and innovation to 2.18 percent in the 2021-2027 period from 0.6 percent in the previous funding cycle, the minister of innovation and technology said on Monday. Hungary tapped 365 million euros in the previous cycle in support of 1,108 projects mainly in the ICT, healthcare and food industries, Laszlo Palkovics said at an online international conference launching the programme's next phase.
