Hungary's government is to meet again on Friday with telecommunications service providers to discuss a planned tax on telephone calls as well as text and multimedia messages. The government has asked telecommunications service providers to compile data on their clients' telephone habits in the process of preparing to levy the tax, sources who wished not to be named told MTI. The government announced the tax at the end of April in an update to a structural reform programme dubbed the Szell Kalman Plan 2.0.
