Hungarian Forum, SMK, Spolupatricnost join forces ahead of election

Non-parliamentary parties Hungarian Forum (MF), ethnic-Hungarian SMK and fledging Spolupatricnost decided to contest the upcoming 2020 general election on a joint slate, MF chair Zsolt Simon confirmed to TASR on Thursday. The parties agreed along with several civic associations on a co-ordinated approach in the drafting of the joint slate. According to Zsolt, 75 places on the slate would belong to SMK and the remaining 75 spots would be shared by the rest. Talks are slated to continue next week.
