Hundreds of police to watch Wednesday protests in Prague centre

Hundreds of police officers will watch the demonstrations against the government anti-coronavirus restrictions planned in Prague centre on the public holiday on October 28, Prague police spokesman Jan Danek told CTK today. The protests and mock events are to be held in Old Town and Republic squares and at the Klarov neighbourhood. The police do not expect the demonstrations to result in violent clashes between protesters and police like nine days ago, Danek added.
