Mateusz Morawiecki, the Polish prime minister, has said that Russia's invasion of Ukraine has caused a humanitarian crisis, which has been worsening "by the hour." "Around 100,000 (Ukrainian - PAP) refugees are entering Poland every day," Morawiecki told a meeting of ambassadors from the European Union and the European Economic Area countries on Monday. The Polish prime minister said that "Poland is wearing its heart on its sleeve for the Ukrainian people... as today is the time to offer assistance."
