Hradec Kralove raises historical flag of Belarus

The town hall of Hradec Kralove raised the historical red-and-white flag of Belarus on the pole before its building today, the town hall spokeswoman has told journalists. With the gesture, the town hall wants to express its support to the citizens of Belarus in their efforts to have freedom and democracy, the spokeswoman said. In doing so, the town hall has followed other towns and institutions in the Czech Republic.
