House turns down extraordinary valorisation of pensions, proposed by opposition

Parliament on Thursday turned down an extraordinary one-off valorisation of pensions sponsored by Independent MPs working in the extra-parliamentary Voice-SD party. The bill on social insurance aimed to ensure an extraordinary one-off valorisation of pensions paid as of January 1, 2022 and granted in 2022. The draft envisaged the valorisation of pensions by a total of 4.6 percent, taking into account the valorisation carried out as of 1 January 2022.
