Parliament will not adopt a resolution on the immediate submission of the draft national recovery plan for public debate, as MPs on Friday turned down a proposal to this effect submitted by the opposition Smer-SD party. At the same time, MPs closed the current parliamentary session with the vote on this issue. Opposition MPs had proposed that parliament should express "serious concern" over the level, intensity and delay regarding preparations for the recovery plan and over the "absence of political leadership" from Prime Minister Igor Matovic in the process of drawing up the plan.
