House price gap widens, risk of overvaluation in Budapest increases

Amid continued fast growth of house prices in Hungary, price gaps grew, as did the risk of overvaluation in Budapest's residential market, the National Bank of Hungary (NBH) said in a biannual report. Nationwide, house prices rose by 15.2 percent last year after a 14.6 percent increase in 2017.
