Hotels and guest houses experiencing worst year ever

Hotels and guest houses are experiencing their worst year in existence, according to the latest accommodation figures published by the Statistics Office on its website on Friday. The activities of hotels, guest houses and other tourist accommodation facilities have been decimated this year. When compared to the period before the pandemic, the most significant (75 percent) drop in the number of guests in the first seven months of this year was reported by facilities in the five districts of Bratislava and in the districts of Trnava and Nitra.
