High Court sends two Poles to 12 years in prison for drug dealing

The appeals Olomouc High Court imposed stricter punishments on two Polish men for large-scale marijuana dealing, sending each of them to 12 years in prison, and upheld their expulsion from the Czech Republic for eight years today. Krzysztof Wojciech Adamiec and Miroslaw Bronislaw Mrowiec bought marijuana in Czechia and then smuggled it to Poland, hidden in the spare tyre of their van, from August 2019 to January 2020. They smuggled at least 12 kg of marijuana in this way and further 5.5 kg of the drug were revealed during a police search of a flat they rented in Luhacovice near Zlin, south Moravia. Both Adamiec and Mrowiec pleaded innocent.
