Heger: We need to re-embrace original ideas that gave birth to EU

new Europe is being forged on Ukrainian battlefields, "and because we have reasons to look at this with concern, we need to re-embrace the roots, the noble ideals and realistic ideas out of which the European Union was born," Prime Minister Eduard Heger declared when marking Europe Day on Monday. "Let's continue to appeal to all nations that want to have freedom, peace and prosperity. Let's be a beacon of hope to the Ukrainian people. Let's give Ukraine European prospects," said Heger, who wants to convert more people to the view that the European Union is their expanded homeland.
