Heger to visit Rudno nad Hronom after Monday's flood

Prime Minister Eduard Heger on Tuesday is set to visit the village of Rudno nad Hronom (Banska Bystrica region), where a dam broke on Monday, the Government Office has said. According to the Government Office, the premier will become acquainted with the current situation. One person in the village was killed in the flood. Firefighter and Emergency Corps Presidium (HaZZ) spokesperson Katarina Krizanova reported that firefighters continued to pump water from flooded cellars, other premises and the streets overnight.
