Heger: Slovakia wants to play key role in Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration

Slovakia wants to send out a strong signal that it considers Ukraine a very important neighbour, partner and friend, Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger told a news conference on Friday following his meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal and President Volodymyr Zelensky. Heger added that this is why he decided to pay his third visit in office to Ukraine. He said Slovakia wanted to be instrumental in Ukraine's integration into EU and NATO structures. Heger said that Ukraine is an important neighbour of Slovakia in terms of developing trading ties.
