Slovakia does not see long-term gas price caps as a sustainable solution to the current crisis, Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger told the European Council meeting in Brussels on Friday. The pandemic has been a major strain on the budgets of member states, he said. Meanwhile, households and the business sector suffering from rising energy prices must be helped, he said.
