Heger: Developing values brought by Cyril & Methodius best way of honouring them

Cyril and Methodius passed on their legacy to the Slavs of Great Moravia in the 9th century, and the best way to commemorate their mission is to keep developing the values they brought, Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OLaNO) wrote in a status on Facebook on Monday. Saints Cyril and Methodius came to this region to make the Gospel comprehensible for our ancestors. They made significant contributions towards the vision of unifying the Moravian nation via language, education and culture. No national identity can be developed without these attributes. Its my priority to make Slovakia a modern, healthy, fair, educated and civilised country, said the prime minister.
